Looking good!
I used the 2000f paint on mine.... and it is pretty soft until it cures. Ended up scratching it up on reinstall.

But, I am sure this is the last thing you are concerned about at this point, considering how close you are to turning the key

Yes, I am very excited to turn the key. Was starting to feel like it would never get there, pulled the carb off nearly a month ago! Meanwhile bob and Charlie have swapped a whole engine

Good to know. I saw their recommended curing cycle on the can, will be careful. I'll still certainly scratch them up, but I'll be careful while doing it

Not pretty but they're plugged. And cheaper than the $15 each billet aluminum plugs.

That's nice to have access like that. My fresh water tank is right on top of the fuel tank. You must have a 60 gal tank. Mine is 80 gal has 3 straps and a total of 4 bolts on the ends.

Pulled the exhaust down so I could access the lines.
Guess what I found... Yea... Brake line rusted halfway through
I have a service reciept for the PO paying a shop to replace all the brake lines.
The rest of the brake lines are more or less fine, look to be - 5 years old I'd guess? Not more than a few tiny spots of rust at least. I'm guessing the shop just ignored the hard to access section because they didn't want to deal with it behind the exhaust.
Half a mind to have my lawyer buddy send that shop a letter.
Anyway, i think i lucked out in that it might be a standard 40" length. I can swap out.
Ignore the green from the shorted out copper wire from the chassis batt. *Sigh*

Those brake lines are scary... dont miss the fixing rust days at all... but then again, there are many man made things that suck in Kalifornia...

60/40 sounds perfect. Heck, I'll settle for anything above 32 right about now.
Next weekend is feeling ambitious but I'm pushing hard. Tubing on hold until I get the straightener tomorrow. Wrapping up the dash today, then when I put the fuel line in it should be all ready to fire up!
Tried pulling the old tires off myself... No luck... You guys must know a trick I don't. Might have to outsource that.
Also centramatic still hasn't shipped the rear duals... Hopefully those ship this week
