That's an odd layout. It's anybody's guess, really, but I'm going to suggest the number 200 appears just before the mark it's associated with, not after, kind of like the other numbers on the gauge. That would mean that the needle is just short of 200 degrees in the photo (although I wouldn't argue too much against the 220 estimate that has been suggested).
The darker marks would seem to indicate that "normal" temperature is supposed to be between 180 and 200 degrees so they tried to make that range more prominent in the top center of the gauge. But they sure could have made the whole thing clearer.
