Need help with 350LE entrance door issue!

Fellow Classic Owners, Looking for someone who can point me in the right direction to fix the entrance door on The Beast, my 1992 350LE...for some reason, the catch in the door and the bolt on the frame have gotten out of alignment...the bolt is higher than the door catch...so it's extra difficult to close the door now; I have to pull hard from the inside and then turn the deadbolt to hold it shut...did take it for a short ride a couple weeks ago, but it was uneventful, so I have no idea what brought this on...it was parked on an uneven gravel pad and I thought that maybe it was uneven ground causing the frame to bend a little, so I went to work on the pad and it's fairly even now; that didn't change anything... I have noticed that on both of the hinges there is a ~1/4" gap in the top (photo attached)...don't know if that is new or was there all along... Anyway, if anyone has ideas they would be greatly appreciated...and if someone with a similar model MH could confirm that the hinge space is normal (or not) that would be most useful...

Warm regards,
Rich

A while back forum members suggested lifting the door (shim stock or other) and adding 1/2” OD 1/4” ID 0.04 thick (or whatever thickness is needed) plastic washers, with a small section cut out so they slip onto the hinge pin. Install the C shaped washer between the moving part of the hinge (attached to the door) and the stationary part (bolted to the coach). Worked for me. I now carry spare plastic washers in my toolbox.

Ive also discovered that the door striker is adjustable. You can loosen it up and move it up or down.

thanks,
Aaron

Thanks...I did adjust it down as far as it would go...about an 1/8"...I'll check to see if it can go any further though...

Copy that and thanks for the response...I've tried lifting the door and I can't budge it with muscle power alone...going to try to carefully pry it up later today with a 2x4 and saw horse...if I can, I found a pack of 'washers' like you described at Ace and will try to insert them... Still perplexed as to what brought this one...
