Floor Runners

We’re delighted to have found a 2019 30’ RBT and are looking forward to picking it up at the beginning of June. Woohoo! One of the things I want to do is put down some Chilewich runners because, dogs. Muddy paws don’t do much for floors. So… Can someone who’s used runners in their 30’ Classic tell me what size(s) they used? I’m specifically interested in using a runner in the entry, across the width of the trailer, and a second running lengthwise from the dinette to the bedroom (not necessarily in the bedroom).

I know I can wait until we pick up the trailer, but Chilewich is having a sale right now

Thanks for your help!

I have read that there have been reports of discoloration of the factory supplied flooring in some units and that in some cases the runners or mats with rubber backings have been suggested to be the root cause.

I have had my Airstream mat in my coach since I got it a year ago. So far, no discoloration.

found on Amazon, purchased July 23 and have used extensively and seem to be holding up really great, haven't needed to wash them yet.

If Airstream still uses the same floor covering as in our 2015, that stuff is beyond awesome in durability and stain resistance, ours still looks great

We got custom cut

Chiliwich will custom cut most of their products. We got a runner cut for the area from the kitchen to the bed in our FB 25 Eddie Bauer and a larger one for the kitchen area. We got a third for under the dining table that I cut a keyhole shaped slit in to allow for the table’s two legs.

One cool thing about the Chilliwich rugs is you can take them to a do-it-yourself car wash and car wash and use the high pressure wand to clean them.

I believe we emailed their customer service to get to their custom cutting service.
