I know if you buy a new ATV or other similar equipment, the dealer strongly encourages you to take a safety course. When I bought my ATV, I got a $150 discount and free helmet for taking the course....

There should be a rubber plug on top of the jack. Look under the plug, there should be a spot to put a manual crank. That is where the light switch for the jack may be, too.
