Thanks TOP, Trainer of Personnel.... I am ready to move on to the cabinet above the kitchen counter. And than, on to all the cabinet doors...plus, I still need to work on the window seals, etc.
Plus, Fed-x delivered The Bunny's Red fabric today, for the diner cushions.
Its funny, because we are already looking for a small trailer, like a Shasta, Kenskill, or a small airstream (at the right price). Like I don't have enough to do right now!
Two more pics from today's work....

Interesting because I know how you feel. We just bought a '62 Globetrotter.
I know. I'm crazy. It's all good!

That's interesting, because I looked at a Globetrotter last week, a 62 Globetrotter sitting in the back yard of this small RV shop in Shasta Lake.
His asking price is too high for a trailer in a "Is Found" condition...but two or three years from now, he may get his asking price. I don't think he really wanted to sell this little AS.

So, when I make time to do some gardening, I pull last year's bulbs and spilt them into 6 plants or more, trim the roots and re-plant. If you would like some garlic plants let me know... I am running out of room.
Today, Brothers Countertop's called and said my Table top, and the countertop above the fridge were ready to be picked up. So, I installed both in the PM.
Late PM, the Bunny and I picked up Speedy at the Vets...his tumor was removed with no problems. Speedy is sleeping on sofa with Jacky, and The Bunny.

Rex,
I'd love to take some garlic plants off your hands. Great excuse to come by and see your progress first hand, you work much faster than me. Maybe the monsoon will be over next week. Are you happy with the countertops. I'm starting to think about these items and had considered doing them myself.

Hoot...You're welcome to come by today, if you still have my phone number, call me or send a PM.
If you have any plastic pots bring them, or stop by the $ store....they have the 12"x6' planters.... or if you're going to plant when you get home we can put them in a plastic bag(s).
Come by and look at the Old Girl....she has changed some, since your last stop.

The Hail...YOU SAY!
Today it hailed like there was no tomorrow! Never seen it like this in the greater Shasta Lake area before. The winter has been like living in the Mid-West, with all this hail and snow in the mountains, (not that it would be bad to live in the Mid-West).
2 hours later the weather turned nice, so I lifted 50 garlic plants and got them ready for Mr. Hoot.... Doesn't take long for that stuff to take-over a planting area. So its nice to see them go to a good home.
I know that someone has photos of hail bigger that the following... Note, the Planter to the right of the cactus, is the garlic that I lifted today for Mr. Hoot. Next week I hope to re-hook-up the outside shower. Must be spring the brids are back and moving in....

Note: the last post shows the underside of my new Diner table. The brother's put flamica on the under-side of the table for a nice finish look.

I am having problems with my 12v system... I think I may have a short in the system. Yesterday one of the original overhead light switches stopped working and was very hot compaired to the other overhead lights.
I think the heat may be high because the amps are high within the curcuits? Has anyone out there had the same problems with there 12v system? Tomorrow, I will buy an amp meter to check the converter, and the curcuits/wiring. And look around on the web/forum for information. If its not one thing, its....

Rex the switch has failed internally. This will cause the heat build up from increased resistance in the switch. Yes the amps will be higher due to the fact that the resistance is causing the increased amperage. The resistance is nothing more than another load on the circuit just like the light bulbs are loads.
Here is the switch you need.

Thank-you again Chris.... One other thing that I didn't mention... after installing the new reading lights in the Bulkhead, the next day both light bulbs were burnt out. The bulbs are those bayonet type Floodlights.
That is the other reason I'm thinking there are too many amps going thru the system. I may be saying enough to show how much "I don't know" about 12v ele. systems. Maybe I need to pick-up a book on wiring 101....

Today Mr. SilverHoot came by my place, and picked up some garlic. But the most important thing we did, was measured the "Old Girl" for new Axles. Yes! Today the Old Girl is finally getting "NEW SHOES"!...ordered.
Called and emailed my order for the axles, which makes me very happy .
We also looked at a cute little 1962-GT up the road from my place at a small RV shop. Has a dent in three out of four cornners....Take some $$'s to restore, but it is a 62 Globetrotter. Owner wasn't around so Hoot didn't get to see the inside.

Just showing off the finer points of the Old Girl today... I'm getting the axles from CH in NY. All the folks who sell axles are good people, its just CH had the best deal for me.
In the PM, I pulled the front window and installed new weather stripping. I used a putty knife to remove the old stripping, and a Dremel Tool to remove the old glue. Worked pretty good. I will leave some blue tape on the corners over-night to hold the stripping in place.
TOP; don't get "too smug" on us... now that you have a 62 GT....
More pics of today's events....

Nice T-Rex. I've only replaced the weather stripping on the rear window. It wasn't even leaking from there. I don't know why I bothered with it. Most of Abby's leaks are from the roof vents and dried up seals.
So are the caster wheels like training wheels for Noobs? If so I need a set!
I don't actually have a '62 GT yet. I've only paid for one. My Dad actually has it. And with my Mom saying things in the background like "It's the perfect size for us!" kinda makes me wonder when I'll see it

Yep....Mr. Hyde said today, "You need to remove the training wheels once you have new axles." He wanted to look at the rear end...that's why I posted all the rear end photos.
