Just wanted to say thanks to the Andy and the Guys on the forum side of this web site
I pulled the water damaged plywood out of the front today. My new 4” grinder works great. Tomorrow I will clean up the support “C” rails, and cut the new subfloor and paint before I re-install.
If anyone out there has replaced subflood, feel free to comment on my thread below.

I know that I often say enough to show my ignorance about Airstreams. And I tend to jump into things&projects without really doing much research. So now I got myself knee deep into a full blown remodel of my 72/31’ International.
Today I finished ripping out all the walls, cabinets, twin beds, stove, oven, refrigerator, water pump, and all the old copper water lines. “Fun, Fun, Fun till your daddy takes the T-Bird...

Removed all the kitchen cabinets, stove top, oven, and furnace out of the Airstream today. If anyone is looking for original 1972 parts for your trailer, please email me at; trex1955@hotmail.com All but the stove top are original… Looks like I have to replace the plastic wheel well, I think the previous owner may have had a tire blowout.

So we take the old girl for a quick trip to Rolling Hills Casino in Corning, CA. The old girl rolled down the road pretty nice. Rolling Hills has a nice little “self serve” all pull thought park behind the casino. Only $25 per nite at the park… no shower/bathrooms, but you can pay to use the Trucker showers if you need that service.
I connect to shore power and water… power working, water lines leaking under kitchen sink and drain. Looks like the fresh water pump is leaking...

I dropped our 72, 31’ Airsteam off at the RV wheel Doctor this morning. They re-packed the wheel bearings and checked the shocks, and brakes. Overall the old girl was in pretty good shape. They replaced a broken spring on one of the brakes and the rest looked “like new.” The only major problem was with the lug nuts.... the hub studs came out with the lug nuts. Had to replace all!
I pulled the old LPG regulator off and replaced with a new one…along with new hoses and connections...
