Finishing up on my 1973 Landyatch that's be almost a year and half in the making. I am now trying to replace the trail lights and running light and my drawings that i have doesn't seem to be the same. The rear break/signal light has a brown and red from the trailer. Which i have identified the red as left turn signal. The brown wire i've not been able to identify when i test it with an ohm meter it shows short to ground. Is this correct? The backup light has one red wire which i have been able to identify as backup. I don't see a running light wire or park-light.. Is this correct? Can someone provided some direction.
You have probably gotten your answer by now, but I hate to see a posted question without any reply. In my '71 and in the service manual, green is running/tail, brown is stop/turn right, red is stop/turn left, black is back up.
Here's the page out of the '72 sovereign manual. (Wire colors should be consistent with '73) and I think Alan already gave you the info, I just know seeing the page in the manual gives a little piece of mind...
