Hi Ron,

Well, I can't say anything, mum's the word, but if Steve gets lucky w/abbing maybe, (big maybe) we'll bring some to Casini..if they last that long!!.the weather's beautiful here on the Coast, but the wind is kicking up!..don't think we'll have a campfire tonite and toast marshmallows!..might have to just stay inside and watch I Love Lucy or Tombstone dvd's, or better yet get my forums fix!!

Is it too late to sign up?

It's starting to sound better and better. I tried to sign up via the rally contact link, but it's dead. So, to whomever is putting this together add another gang: Two humans, one dog, one cat. PM me with what I need to know. I'll be contacting Cassini ranch tomorrow to reserve a space.

The Finns visiting the Western Women's Rally in a wine country made famous by a certain film.
Why are they "Sideways?"
Do they go to all wine country rallies?
And where is the "Crew"?
Hmmmm....
Perhaps we'll find out next week.

Hi, Paula; Thanks for the pictures. Sierracoast posted last week that Santa Rosa may pose some traffic problems around the River Rd turn off. If you went that way what time did you get through there or more importantly did you go 116 way?

That's an average ab??? Wow, that's amazing...

Now, the question is how do you cook it? Braised? BBQ? Sashimi?

Reservation for 1 please... sorry, 2 please, John feels a bit left out over here...

For the abalones, we used to pound them flat, dip in beaten egg, saltine crackers and fry. OH my sooo good! Now they are at least $50 in a restaurant and you get a very small portion But better than none

Food

We will be leaving Atascadero on Wed am, hopefully arriving Casini around 1 or 2pm. We are bringing freshly smoked salmon( tomorrows project) for the wine and cheese party Friday night.

They all sound wonderful...I am so jealous

So from chinese style roast duck to fried abalone...(and the yummy cream puff) I am moving in...do you have room for me and TT...and John?

BTW, what do you do with the beautiful abalone shell? Can you save me one? I collect shells and rocks...anyway, it looks like a great vessel for me small crystals and tumble rocks...

I'm salivating. That sounds sooo good. If Steve does anymore diving, you tell him to stay safe. The water can be really dangerous which I'm sure he's figured out already. See you on Thursday!
