I had the same problem with my 2016 26U. After checking all electrical possibilities, it seems the solenoid went bad. Called Airstream and they sent out a part, had it repaired and now works great....

I can't get photos as the trailer is in storage out of town. I believe they installed a fan to blow the heat out the exhaust vent. Also put some heat barrier material between the fridge and cabinet....
