Unit Numbers

Would like to know if there are any different type unit numbers that can be put on the trailer instead of the decals. I have heard there are some kind of static type that can be put on much easier than the decals.
Thanx for any help.

I used 6" vinyl numbers I bought from a sign shop on line. They are pre-aligned. Just peel off the wax paper, smooth them in place on the skin, and peel off the backing paper. Great thing is that car wash will not dislodge them as sometimes happens with decals. They can be removed with a hair dryer.

I ordered 96329632 and cut them in half. That is cheaper than 2 separate numbers.

Unit Numbers

Another option dating back to the early days of the WBCCI is to have a local sign painter paint the numbers on your coach. My uncle was a professional sign painter back during the 1940s through about 1970, and he painted the numbers on many of the trailers belonging to members of the local WBCCI unit. My '64 had its unit number painted on by my uncle during the days of its first owner (1964-1980).

John, which on-line sign shop did you get them from?

I went to a local sign shop and they made the numbers on a sheet. Made it easy to put them on. I think it cost $10 for two.
