Hey Bob,

What valve/tank heaters did you use?

Looked back a few pages and didn't see it mentioned, sorry if I missed it.

Thanks,
Rob

I finished up all of the Dyna-Mat install in the front, I like the Dyna-Mat so much I ordered another sheet for the generator enclosure, so I had to remove the under sink cabinet again to get ready for the install, I'm sure it will keep more of the heat out of the inside as well as make it less noisy inside. I am all ready for the carpet padding install on Saturday, It will take me 2 weekends to finish the install of the electric heated floor, then I can have the carpet installed, All of the seats/couch/dinette are all done so they can be installed after the carpet. The shower trap and elbow heaters came so they are installed as well. Central vac should take one more day and still working on the window re-seal job, running new wiring for the electric air horns on the roof as the original wiring is shorted out.....more later, Regards, Bob

You are doing an awesome job Bob! Everything looks great!
I've never seen or heard of elbow drains. You'll definately be equipped to camp in some extreme cold!

OK, well let's see...it's back in the 20's...got 34" of snow...the power out...and today is the big day for the carpet padding install...well the house has a full stand by Onan Generator that I installed 15 years ago which was running when I got up this morning...but the shop does not have one, soooo..I have to start my Honda 3000UI put it on the loading dock run a 100' extension cord to the corn stove, put a 16' extension ladder up to pull the garage door cord so I can open the door.....damm Charly, maybe I should have bought that other Onan generator we were looking at.....In any event hope to get lots done today, the 5 new mirrors came in to replace the ones with the tape lines on them, the electrical control panel also showed up that I am going to install in the bathroom wall to the right of the medicine cabinet which controls all the heaters for the tanks, elbow, and dump valve heaters. Regards, Bob

We had 1/4" yesterday morning. Ten miles north of me they had 5-6". Somehow this is another result of 'Climate Change'. Bob you must be the biggest offender.

We finished all the carpet padding today, front cockpit windows all redone, and the first slider right front finished, each slider takes 4 hours from start to finish, I know now cause I have done my fair share of them. Tomorrow I will tackle the electric radiant floor heat install....my carpet guy wants to finish the carpet install next Saturday, I have started to run the wiring for the tank, dump valve and elbow heaters. Regards, Bob

Oh, the last picture is a low pressure switch I needed for the low air pressure warning light on the dash...the circuit closes at 38 PSI to complete the ground for the light. Regards. Bob

Enough for today, I just finished about 95% of the wiring for the tank heater install. The custom switching panel with built in circuit breakers will be in installed in the wall cavity to the right of the medicine cabinet. Regards, Bob

Beautiful work bob as usual. The knobs above each switch? Are they rheostats for each switch?

ID:	305579 an added benefit of the switch panel is the USB charger, the whole panel is water proof, and if someone's phone dies while they are doing their business they can charge up.....perfect !

The electric radiant heat is 95% done in the living room.....seems to be the story with everything lately.... 95% done not 100%.....I'm being held hostage on the last 5% because I am relying on someone else for information or parts. The front kicked my ass, I hope the bedroom/bathroom isn't as bad. Regards, Bob Click image for larger version
