Sounds like it's a good thing I haven't been reading the buffin' buddies thread. (Buffin' Buddies!?! I mean really. ) You guys can keep your salted cods over in that other thread, and I'll just enjoy the fine international cuisine over here at this rally.

Wonderful dinner Jamie! Hot drinks anyone??
Some Baileys here...
Anyone here visit the site popgadget? Its got some cool techno stuff for women. Anyways today's had a first aid kit for mobile phones which I thought was pretty cool if a person were fulltiming or just worried on a camping trip.
Yesterday's was a tiny portable microwave which was awful cute, course with our Airstreams we don't need them...

Paula started it... Hope you guys don't notice how the buffin' buds are already tripping over their tongues (posts 80-82). Coy taking advantage of our weakness would be frowned on most strongly! [on edit: oops, wrong smily]
I'm putting myself on suspension from this thread for 4 days. Well, 3 days... Maybe 2 days...

Can you believe it? So much for all their bragging! They may talk beer and brats, but they can't seem to stay away from chocolate, red wine, fine Airstreaming, and . . .well, let's not give all our secrets way! ~G

Too funny Bob, let's see I'll pull that old mothers' saying out of the hat
"It doesn't matter who started it..."
We need to get Suzy over here by the campfire, and talk with her about towing to Ohio for a little rally...

Tin Sista -- thanks for the link! I liked that traveling first aid kit for my husband too (travels a lot for work). What a great find that site is!

I like that that microwave Steph, bring it over here. For my first trick for your entertainment pleasure I will nuke a little peep. Kind of like watching the Hulk transform.

Peep Show
For my peep show entry, I will now make a peep s'more over our campfire. Nothing like toasted peep, a little chunk of Hersheys and a graham cracker.
Steph also gave me a really cool, really easy no-knead bread recipe this week and I just finished baking a loaf for your campfire dining pleasure this morning. Here it is, totally healthy gals with a little bit of a wheat germ crust. Enjoy!

Thank looks wonderful Jamie!!!
Guess you don't have the "if it's worth doing, it's worth over-doing" gene, huh Carol?
My husband accusses me of being "Type A+" instead of just a "Type A". He also is constantly telling me " it must be hard being you!" (while smirking and shaking his head) when I am mid-"project" & overwhelmed! Sometimes I loooong for being satisfied with the simpler things in life...oh well!
A co-hort in crime ( another A+) & I say in our next lives we'll come back being polyester divas with curlers in our hair, bright blue eyeshadow & white frosted lipstick...as a paybackfor this life!
Good gawd, I sure hope there is no reincarnation!

If so - I picture you coming back with a really big shine on glowing in torquois - and more than likely an inanimate Maxwelline....
Shari you would be the Airstream character in the movie Cars if they had one
When all the delicious foods and drinks were served on your tables - by the time the guests arrived to the table it would all be gone - and yet what a thought with not a single inch being added to the waist line phew..
This could be fun - everyone pic someone else and splain what or who you think they would be reincarnated as...... (since there are so many hmmm "little" games on the forums lately... we can have some smaller version fun right here at the fire....
PS I am now please to annouce that I am running at full RAM again - now if we could just get the photos back up -----and I will have to look into increasing my alotment - hmmm contribution time I think.

Sharon, RAM congrats! Jamie and Steph, that bread looks delish, virtually. Can we tease you into sharing the recipe so we can sample it actually? ~G

Busted! I see Shari caught my post before I edited it out. lol
I had said, I see a pattern emerging here. Steph=gourmet cook, Carol=popcorn, Jamie=fresh baked bread, Carol=marshmallows, Vickie=decorator plates and stemware, Carol=paper plates, paper cups and paper towels.
I like your game Sharon, let me think on it a spell...hmmm
