It's the view from my office window - not a bad view, if you gotta work ~
See post #460 to see what it looked like last week.

Smile Shari you look mahvelous!!

Shari I just love that 'polyester divas' how cute!! Great photo of the mesa wow!

Jamie's bread looks like it belongs on food network!! Pass the butter Carol!!

Georgia, it was the no knead bread recipe that the New York Times writer Mark Bittman featured last November from the Sullivan Bakery (Jim Lahey) and today I tried Rose Levy Beranbaum's spin on the recipe from her blog. Jamie did it according to the NY Times recipe. We both had tasty results! Plus I got to justify running out and buying a cast iron dutch oven (Lodge) that I'd been hoping for since seeing all the great cast iron cookin at the Metro Detroit rally last summer...

Holy smokes! Those are gorgeous! And they really should somehow find a way to my house as soon as possible. For a charily event? Oh well never mind. You clearly do good work with all that A+ energy.

Too pretty and labor intensive to eat! Those should be framed as objects of art. Beautiful Shari. Oh my, you really put your heart and soul into that project and from the pictures I have seen of your Maxwell, you give all your projects attention to critical detail and excellence. Type A+ for sure!

Umm, anyone want some potato chips... they have ridges.
Hey who just swatted my hand in the cookie jar, where's the flashlight?

The "charity event" was the WBCCI DenCO Unit luncheon...

Yep, pass the onion dip too! I brought Fritos & bean dip tonight, want some?

See Carol, I'm trying to be more low-key!

It's good to be charitable towards all.

Thank you ladies, the dips are good. No, no no--- don't be low key on my account, in fact we were going to plan a rally just around you so we could get you to be charitable to us.

Wow Shari those cookies should be on a fancy baking magazine cover, they are gorgeous! I'll bet they were really popular at the luncheon!! I know they are perfect for breakfast, excuse my boardinghouse reach, I'd like that nice big red one....mmmm

Nice that all of us around this campfire have so many varied talents and interests it makes things so much fun!!

Me too. I want cookies!

Shari -- Awesome job on the cookies! I'll bet they taste as good as they look too. I'll take one of the big ones with lotsa decorating on it.

Thanks for bringing the quality chips, Carol, and the dip looks great! I'm not in a cooking mood today, but I have some Cheez Whiz here, and some fancy crackers. Sure, go ahead and squirt some on a chip if you want.

Tin Sista -- you wanna pass me over another one of those lovely cookies? I'm famished this morning. Tea pot's whistlin' .... I'm off to get it....

Would you prefer a chocolate, lemon butter shortbread or a ginger snap with jam? The ginger are my favorite (with raspberry or apricot jam)...but I'm one of those strange people that doesn't like chocolate.... can I still sit around the girls campfire? It'll leave more chocolate for you all...

Jamie, I think I'll pass on the Cheez Whiz ~ Got any Brie or Bleu?

Shari

Now you're talking, Codybear. I'll have some of the chow fun, and if you've got a good recipe to go with that so I can make it myself, I'll have a copy of that too!
