That's the problem with being at the bottom of the country!
I have Rich's cell phone number. Maybe I should call and harass him!
I know it is worth waiting for, so I will stop whining.

Doesn't hurt to keep the "expectations level up"..
I undestand the folks are all at the Intl Rally having "fun"..

I forgot to mention the cute picture of Andy with his sports coat and pretty shirt with the collar hanging out. It is in his ad on page 19.

I got mine! Fantastic. Some specialty magazines are just ads, but this one's great. There's really a lot of content to read in there. A little something for everyone. Great job, Rich and the gang!

Read it cover to cover. . .
and enjoyed it all. I especially liked the range of articles from the 90+ year old builder of the early AS to the Q/A article to the travel piece on Wyoming Crow Country. I had been thinking of recommending a story about keeping travel journals since I do--and had just been through the task of selecting a new one because my original was too full for this summer's trips--when I found two stories in the first issue connecting to travel journals! I thought the quality of the writing and of the editing was high, higher than I expected, high enough to make me look forward to the next issue. In fact, I found myself wondering how the editors of the magazine would keep this up on a continuing basis. Is AS lore deep enough? I guess time will tell, but this first issue shows good promise and I'm glad I sent in our subscription early

22180! 22180! Nada, nada, nada! Vienna, the boring VA one, not cool Austria (yes, I do get occasional emails in German that I have to put through Google language tools to kinda fathom). But back to AS life-- subscribed last winter--still waiting!
I am very impatient. Well, impatient for things like really cool retro stuff. That and really good ice cream. And may I add, NOT impatient for the following:
1. Unpaid scope creep from clients (if you do consulting, you'll understand)
2. Rust on my frame that cancels going to the vintage rally in CO.
3. Wearing a full respirator to do fiberglass repair on the A/S tub. Mind you, don't actuall mind the fiberglass repair. Was cool when I was a carefree teen in the (OSHA-free) days working on my boat--but that respirator makes me feel like I'm going to suffocate. But. by a wierd technical twist, I don't. But I feel like it.
Ok, I 'm rambliing... Darlingest A/S Life guy, who is presently enjoying the high life at the International whilst I slave over requirements inventories, please send me this or I shall wither--slowly, though, since I do get the VAC maggie.
Please save m!. I have read Wally's book by ILL. I am convinced that he read one too many Morgenthau essays (that hokey, but indellibly optomistic person to person democracy is the sign).
But one thing Wally would never predict is that A line skirts are the modern woman's blessing and slaked off to the side and worn with vintage panache, berets (even blue ones) are downright cool and sexy (sorry guys, harvester/baseball hats are soooo 2002)! I only pray that somehow, by some slip of chance, he once walked through or gazed at my '61.
I sputter too silly, inspired by the girlfriends over and envy...AS life envy! Mind you, the gals have total A/S envy inspired by the silver toaster here...
BTW--Next week will be Wally's 98th Birthday (as I understand). Must go to International in 2 yrs.

Received my 1st issue yesterday.A winner from cover to cover. Excellent quality from the paper to the content. Just can't wait until it's available 6 times a year and then monthly. To all that haven't received theirs yet, your in for a very nice surprise.
