Hey flyfshr Brad. I came back across this message thread as my activity is rising in the Airstream world again. Hope you are still alive and kicking. Honestly, I was very sick, and off the grid for awhile, that and the fact that fly fishing rules my life.

    Hi Brad
sorry for such a long delay in getting back to you. I don't get on the forum very often. We saw the TW when we were at an old car event nearby, and went for a drive because there were old cars and trailers at this parking lot. there is a trailer rebuilding business and a car resto shop sharing the lot. the link is to some pictures, including the TW serial plate. The TW was kind of in the back behind some other trailers. I did not get a good lookm inside, but the outside looked very good. same layout as my 59. same windows etc.
    here is the link:

    Hi Brad
I ran across another 59 Tradewind. It is sitting in a parking lot in Lynden Wa. It is in among a bunch of other airsreams at a trailer rebuilder business. I don't know the name of the business as there is no name visible. This TW is significant to me because of the serial number. It is 249038. My TW is 249040 which is already on your registry.

Had a great time yesterday even though it was hot. Thank you your kindness and sharing your wisdom on these beautiful trailers. Till the next time. Orest

    Hi Flyfshr

Our 1960 24" Airstream arrived today. It's number is 24D-0200. California #359. rear bath tub curbside. Double bed.

Most of the systems/appliances have been removed but that ok. We are going to modernize it (sell the cabinets and other items). Let the work begin. I'm trying to put together a cost sheet/parts list and have to admit I had no idea a restoration could be so expensive. The site has been a great resource.

    Thanks
    Donna

So I see the "flyfshr" - which is my main addiction, fly fishing. Tell us more about your fly fishing if you don't mind? Thanks

Thanks, Brad. We really enjoyed seeing you again, too. And thanks again for finding the classic 120v fan. Karen's working on it now.

Thanks brad. You too! Great trade wind as well. We actually just got home and checked our email and got a lead on a new airstream which might be exciting. Its a long shot but we'll keep everyone posted. It would be a great vintage addition for us and much smaller for those Arizona trips.
