Is the "little birdie thing" gonna be that "wild card entry"? I am guessing it may be a bird without wings? Hummmmm, that's it, it is like a humming bird, but without wings. Forum rally rules do allow any "wheeled vehicle" with aluminum construction, that could be interesting.

I almost had a friend of mine talked into flyin his R-22 down! Then his wife slapped him. But I did also meet - Karl - an interesting fellow who just got an Argosy Moho. I told him about the forums, he seemed somewhat interested yet recluse. No info as to his residence other than the foothills of No.Cal. He seemed interested in a MoHo race tho! He was stopped on the side of the freeway. unintentionally.

Looks like the outer bearing disintegrated. With the rollers gone, the outer race can slip over the inner race and nut. Had to have been noisy for a while.

That could be. The only bearing I could find was the inner. But I didn't know if maybe the outer one was out in the street somewhere. With the radio playing, and road noise, we never heard a thing.

Wow. Sorry to hear the news. Scary. Glad all the humans and canines are fine.

(This really did happen right...it's not just an excuse to handicap the race is it? Or maybe it's an excuse to go ahead and buy the third MoHo???)

In any case I hope it's fixed soon and at least you'll be rallying with one of your fleet.

1. Yes, we're registered for Pyramid!
2. The outer race should still be in the drum and the inner race will be behind the nut. The rollers are probably unrecognizable bits in the street somewhere.

Hi, that's exactly how that happens; And that is why we need to check and repack our trailer wheel bearings. [and tag axles and tow vehicle front wheel bearings] If the outer bearing inner race is blue and welded to the spindle, it's axle time. GOOD LUCK.

California Rally

Did this happen? I'm really delayed in joining this forum. If not...if so, we can definitely get one going in No Cal near the coast this summer. Anyone in? I'll do the location scouting.

Hi and Welcome VA!

Pick a place and a date and they will come. You might want to start a new thread and ask for possible dates, places and peeps that might be available. If you plan ahead I'm sure you will get takers to join you.

C'mon down to this rally and meet some nice folks! There will be some NorCal people there.

(It hasn't happened yet...starts this Friday the 20th)

There's a Norcal in Oct. near Paso Robles.

C'mon down and join us. We'll be straight down the 5 from the 80.

I'm watching the LA news on TV right now and it seems that the heat will be back for the weekend...better plan for lots of cold beverages, small wading pools, large water balloons etc.

BTW, the mayor of Huntington Beach was just interviewed on that news program and it seems that they are having a problem with some guy walking around naked in that area. Sure hope it's no one we know who left home without their Speedos...

Bam,
For everyone's sake, I have burnt all clothings remotely resemble speedos or alike in a recent pit fire at the beach...along with the fireworks at the pier on the 4th, they became part of the spectacular July 4th celebration!!!!
You can sleep/camp in peace now...
However, you are station next to Kevbo who's a proud owner of many eye-blinding colorful speedos as he had shown us in the past(in photo)...and that's out of my control...

Being currently undefeated in corn toss, (who were those two guys I beat?), I say "make mine a Margie". Ron
