I went up to the Rally last night for a view. I got there right before 11:00. Happy hours had ended a little before and everyone was tucked in their trailer but Ron and Debbie who where running around nekkid making bird call noises.

Milo and Lucy were just shaking their heads. Mickey was in hiding.

It was a very enjoyable visit. Odd but enjoyable.

I was soooo jealus of those that were already there.

Openhigher has planned on leaving today as they are just finishing a 30 trip and are ready to be home. Hopefully Ron can convince them to stay one more night. o the rest of us can meet them. Cross your fingers.

Drive safe everyone and we'll all meet up today!

You can't believe everything that you read here, but yes, I did open my door at 11PM last night to an aluminum starved waif. I brought him in from the howling wind and let him bask in the glow of our airstream until he felt well enough to head home. It appears, by the last post that he made it. It's about 0930, a beautiful clear morning and warming up fast. OpenHigher has already headed home and we are awaiting the rest of the group. Ron

Still at work. My wife and child are waiting curbside. I'm leaving now to hookup and head out. I'll slow to about 5 mph and let them hop on. See you around Nineish.

We're assuming that you folks and Zenflyer got caught on the other side of the accident on I-5. Hope you make it in today.

another one made it

tcjx4 rolled in at about 1130------still no sign of the other Moho--------perhaps the race challenge has them running scared! Hopefully no misadventures--- Golf tourney will be starting as soon as Milo bets back from his mandatory work visit today. Had a birthday bash for Kevbo last night and broke out the fire dancer.

Hi, we second that. And since Safari Rick will be representing Lakewood, we hope to see lots of pictures showing people and places we missed out on. Thanks in advance Rick.

Tim, hope you are not "stuck in Lodi" next weekend. Lynn and I will miss you at Tahoe if you are. We will see some of the rest of you at LSA. Have fun all. Looking to see pictures posted.

Home Again

Well, it's over. First off, I left my camera home, so pix will have to be posted by others less forgetful than I. tcjx4 eventually made it Saturday morning as did Zenflyer. We had a total of 10 trailers and 2 mohos. There was a hotly contested miniature golf tourney, and several rounds of corn toss. The cocktails parties seem to run most of the day. Unfortunately the moho race never came off. First we had to decide on the course, then how many lengths Zenflyer would give str8strm. Once all that was settled we had to pick the Offical Drink of the 1st Annual Moho Race. Once the tasting was completed it seemed prudent to leave driving for another time. Seriously, everyone had a great time. All the new folks seemed to enjoy themselves and the whole group hung together most of the day. The potluck was excellent and the party lasted into the wee hours. We had good music and TIMEMACHINE'S trick lighting really set the mood. The kids made smores on the Fire Dancer and the Margie Ball never ran dry for the adults. It was fun for us regulars to see Excella CM's '31 foot Excella, tcjx4's Argosy Minuet, SteSpot's newly polished Overlander, Safari Rick's Safari (duh) and of course Zenflyer's very rare Silver Streak moho. I almost forgot OpenHigher. Rob and Sherry were only able to stay Thursday but it was a pleasure to spend time with them. It never ceases to amaze Deb and I that a bunch of folks, many of whom have never met, can get together for a weekend and feel like old friends almost immediately. There's just something about these Forum's Rallys. If this is aluminitis, we're hoping for a widespread outbreak. Ron

Had a blast!

Well, we're home. Had a great time. Got to meet lots of new folks and all of them were fun to be around. Hope to see them again soon.

Great food and drink. The Golf turney was a blast and Ron and Debbie were clearly the best dressed.

SafariRick is a naturel at the Corn toss game. I think he'll make the national team.

No balloon fight but there was a heckuva squirt gun battle. Few were spared.

On the way home Karen and I found an Airstream and ran into Stespot at Camping World.

Karen will post pics in a bit.

So who won the Patron? Or was it consumed prior to a declared winner .

Thats a Pirate peep.

The Patron was not awarded so much as drunk by many.

darn gremlins

I seem to be having a problem with my photo software so the pictures will be delayed. Had a wonderful time and met many new faces. Hope to see them all as well as the usual suspects at the next rally.

Good times...

Made it home last night after a lovely drive up the coast. Holly and I kept trying to find a spot for a beach walk but those darn tourists took up all the parking.

We had a great time at the rally. It was really nice to meet all the first timers...what a fun group! Milo and his near-twin brother John did an amazing job coordinating the 100's of action packed activities though I beg to differ on the best dressed for the golf tourney...you have something against table cloths? In any case you failed to mention Safari Rick's outstanding hole in one, my backwards through the table cloth one putt, or Kevbo's bank shot off the back of the Margi-ball (okay I'm exaggerating on that one but he did patronize the Debbie's refreshment stand regularly).

Holly practiced hard for the Olympic Doggie Paddle Race in her own pool and was disappointed that the Bassets cancelled at the last minute...something about short legs? Holly also apologizes for the double team swoop that she and Deeohgee did on those who were trying to eat Suni's delicious chips. They did manage to score a couple before the Squirt gun fight broke out.

There was lots of beautiful silver there glistening in the heat *er* sunshine. We followed the shade with glasses in hand and ended up potlucking at str8's partyland with more food than could be possibly consumed.

Good times...
