Kudos for sysops
Being in the business myself, I have some awareness of the fun that surrounds keeping a hardware platform, network connectivity, internet server and programming code working harmoniously. This site is superior and the operators deserve some special treatement from Santa.
Thanks for all you do!
Mike

I am on several other internet groups, and this is, by far, the best run group. Keep up the great work, and have a merry Christmas.

Thanks for the kudos! The hardware and software is just part of the overall work it takes to keep a community like this running. The real people that keep this community working so well are the members. Our administrators and moderators are volunteer members that help "keep the peace" and make sure that everyone is following our community policies... So I want to extend a special thanks to them for all their help in managing the forums!

As we are somewhat dinosaurs I did not understand much of the above dialog .... but agree in the sentiment thanks for the forums and the support from the volunteers!!

Hi, I'd like to be a supporting member
But I don't use paypal. I'm still recovering from some identity theft and just get the heebie-jeebies about putting a credit card on the web. Mail you a money order? Address please?

Congratulations!
Great going Eric -- and thanks for the mod nod. It's been an Airstream awakening following all you oldies around. 7000 by the weekend? Oh... that's a different thread.

Andy R, you have my compliments also on a well run website. I also discovered your other site "Cruisers". I used this site for an education on Airsteams before I bought my76 Sovereign ( now on my third Airstream) and the Cruiser site is excellentfor information on sailboats and living aboard. My goal or dream is to be able to not only travel the U.S. with the Airstream but to sail where ever the weather is warm and the beer is cold. Thanks

Being a mod here since the very beginning, it has been a great experience to watch this Forum grow, and to glean all the knowledge I can get from its members. There have been minimal headaches from overly opinionated ones, and great contributions from many more.
Our 20,000 member level is iminent also, and I remember when we were looking for #100.

That's funny Alan, as I remember us pushing for that 100 milestone too. You're five numbers up on me and must have joined a day before me. I agree, although I haven't been a mod as long. It's been enjoyable watching this community grow in size and togetherness. Maybe a nat'l rally is in order where we all rally at different locations all on the same weekend.

I reacall it from near 2000 since I'm 1937. It seems each year has been better than the last by far. 20,000 members....any day now.
PS- My karma meter and I both thank all the folks who left karma, notes and posts.
