I finished up the install of the Dyna-Mat around the inside of the generator compartment, should hopefully make a big difference not only in keeping the heat out but also a little quitter inside...I also finished laying out the radiant floor heating system in the bedroom/bathroom area and will fasten it to the floor tomorrow while my carpet guy is installing the front carpet. He took the dog house cover and the 2 (door) panels with him last week to do them at his shop....the dashboard will have to wait till next year as I am out of time to start another project before this camping season begins. Regards, Bob

I had to hire a new "wood" guy yesterday....seems like my guy fell of the face of the earth, he had my original bathroom parts, doesn't answer his phone, etc.etc. so he is in the "Punch in the Nose " club the next time I see him....The carpet guys showed up Saturday and the front is 80% done, while they were in the front, I finalized the rear radiant floor heat, ran the 2 new electrical 120 volt circuits for the rear heat and today I will finish the front single 120 volt circuit for the front floor heat, try to get some more work done on the central vac, and wiring for the roof air horns, the bathroom wall work and new throne are going to come right down to the wire for the "Get-Together",,,,,Dave, do they have public toilets there for use????? LMAO, I will be seriously disappointed with myself if I cannot pull this one off ! Regards, Bob

Are you going to feel the wires under the carpet? It would seem that they
are going to make a pattern in the carpet. Am I missing something?
Great job,
Pete.

I took some great photos this morning in between plowing snow (again) with the thermal imager...the pictures came out better where the carpet is already placed. The amp draw for the front is 3 amps (AC), and the amp draw for the rear 2 circuits is 5,7 amps (AC). Regards, Bob

A couple of months ago when I removed the couch from the 370LE I found that Airstream had only used 4 of the 6 mounting tabs that hold the couch to the floor, As a matter of fact they even used sheet metal screws (number 12) and screwed them through the 3/4" subfloor and galvanized sheet below that. Well today the re-upholstered couch is re-installed with grade 8 hardware through the floor correctly....always wondered why the couch was a little wobbly ! The slides for the drawer under the couch were missing so I have to figure out the correct height to attach the new ones I bought, the red panel will cover the drawer once I get everything centered. The custom labels came for the heated tank switch panel, and all of my wood for the bathroom should be completed by Tuesday, The 6 new mirrors came they will be replacing the ones that have the tape lines showing through them...(must be an age thing). I am going to do a little more work on the roof horn wiring tonight if I don't fall asleep on the couch.....I'm taking an hour break right now for a cup or two of coffee and to play with the dog, yes he is still with me ! Regards, Bob

Yeah, I have to change my clothes before I sit on it, going in and out to fasten it to the floor a dozen times gets me pretty dusty, the floor is clean, but dusty. You know you're in.....you're out.....you're in .....you're out.....seems like a thousand times, LOL, Regards, Bob

Bob maybe up sh!ts creek without a sh!tter, but that 370's going to that meet come hell or a lot of stopping for bathroom breaks.
I wish I had as big a shop to work on mine in the winter time.
Keep going Bob, looking great!
I'm thinking the radiant heat under my flooring is going to happen as well.
Cheers
Sidekick Tony

Tony, the radiant heat should work out really well...one of the more difficult installs because of all the turns I had to do around the bed and the barrel chairs in the front, the wiring to the thermostats was also difficult because of the thermostat locations, Lance, I believe has also installed the heated floor or something similar, I hope to compare notes with him at the Get-Together....,If the bathroom is not done in time a think a large funnel will work just fine.....just got to figure how to keep the smell down ! LOL Regards, Bob
