We use it with a 25 footer. It has a tendency to roll on slopes, meaning you need to keep a firm hand on it all the time. That's not always possible! I would not recommend it in the case you describe.

Further exploration.

OK, so the AS is back in our hands.
We filled the fresh tank with a hose, not connected to city water inlet. No leak.
We used the pump, no issues, except the pump is LOUD.
Hooked up city water....

In an 86 sovereign, should there be a switch to prevent the fresh tank from filling when using city water? Dealer couldn't locate leak and isn't sure if it's coming from fresh tank or line above it....

I'm in the middle of replacing all curtains on an '86 Sovereign as well! See photos attached. I'm using a measurement of 26.5 inches from top to bottom of finished curtain. And it might be too tight....
