It has 13 panels NOT 7

The panels that Andy is referring to are for the seven panel trailer, NOT the 13 panel that is listed for sale. You would need the panels off the trailer that is on eBay for 150.00 starting bid. That trailer is near Santa Barbara.

Hensley Arrow Anti-Sway System for towing large trailers - $1375 (Fairborn)

Reply to: sale-msjhr-1769154349@craigslist.org [ Errors when replying to ads?]
Hensley Arrow Anti-Sway System for towing larger trailers. I am listing this for my folks, they just got back from Florida and do not have their internet on yet.Was used to pull a 34' Airstream on 5 trips, does not pull the large Airstream anymore and went with a lighter unit for their smaller trailer. This system has a Maximum Gross Trailer Weight of 10,000 LBS and a Maximum Gross Tongue Weight of 1,300 LBS.These units sell for over $3000 now and I thought I would but it on here before I list it on E-Bay for him( they do sell on E-Bay but you do have to pay their fees. And no, Walmart does not sell these). If you want some more detailed information just go to http://www.hensleymfg.com/arrowdetails.htm
You do have to have a 2" Reciever hitch to use this, that is not included. He is asking $1375 or make a good cash offer. He is not interested in any trades. If you have any interest you can send me your contact info and I will pass it on to him. This is a very heavy unit, thats why I have held off on listing it on e-bay for them because they do sell.

1951 Flying Cloud #7144
A Craigslist listing for a '51 Flying Cloud Serial #7144 is linked here. This trailer is incorrectly listed as a '54 "Silver Cloud". Buddy Brad and I inspected this trailer last week for about an hour.

Looks like some leakage on a new floor. No factory installed air either. What kind of "patch" is aft of the axle curbside? Wouldn't it make sense to repair the belly pan before installing new subfloor? Just some flags of caution right off the batt. I would definitely be interested otherwise. Looking for the '53 FC. What did you think?

1948 Curtis Wright?
Vintage Rare Antique 1948 Curtis Wright Trailer (Chino)
Vintage Rare Antique 1948 Curtis Wright Trailer
1948 Curtis Wright Model 5 trailer for sale. This is possibly the only 1948 Model 5 Curtis Wright trailer with factory square pop-out front and rear ventilating windows. It was purchase by the original owners at Curtis Wright's factory in Los Angeles in 1948 this way. Trailer is complete except for the bed is missing. Also has a Panel Ray heater in good unrestored condition. Trailer is very straight for a 1948 and has been stored inside for the last 7 years. Inside is currently gutted and interior paint is 98% striped because I started to restore it before I moved out of California.
HATE to sell such a rare trailer but I am losing my storage for it and don't have a place for it where I currently am living.
Email for any more questions or photos
Some of these photos show pieces mising off the trailer such as the heater exhaust stack, marker lights, or rain gutter above the door. I do have these for the trailer. They are just off for restoration.

Windows
I don't know about your priorities Robert, but I certainly know how you feel!
I was thinking about this trailer today and those front and rear windows have been bugging me... The ad says "factory square pop-out front and rear ventilating windows" but the CWs I've seen photos of all have the plexiglass oval windows as does ours. I've been reviewing the ad photos and there are some seams to the right of the back window in the polished section. So, it would seem a bit suspect about them being original. The ad does say "factory" but not original, so maybe it's not meant to mean original. I can't imagine buying it in '48 with those weird seams, it was all about the streamlining...
I'm a stickler for details.
