This appears to have been built for this purpose....
1968 Airstream Sovergian Model 30(Body Type TT / Model REA / Mobilab). All electric, 2 doors on same side, 2 windows (1 window original corning glass opens other replaced with plexiglass doesnt open) on same side, AC unit, roof air vent, Coleman furnace electric with thermostat & new motor this past winter, new ceiling lights, no soft spots in floor with carpet, small dent in top rear panel . Solid unit to park but would need work to be full time road worthy. No propane lines or water except for toilet installed can be removed easily. Used for teaching unit so has 12 foot peg board on one side & 12 foot black board on other, cabinets over wheel wells, cabinets with drawers & desk at front of trailer, row of 10 on 1 side & 6 on other pull up desk tops for students (when literacy lab). Have title. Was designed & made in Jackson Center Ohio. Interior walls have been cleaned very well. Great to use for pool house or hunting get away or what ever you may need for an extra room for next to nothing! $2,500 OBO.

This one looks really interesting - the pipe, storage box, and spare tire mount added to that bumper remind me of the threads that excitedly uncover the trailers that have been around the world...
2 axles, and just $1600!

Here are two mid-door '64 Safaris that just happened to show up at the same time on Craigslist. I don't think I've ever seen one with the door positioned right in the center like these have... very interesting.
