I have added your AIR number to your profile page. I will find other places to put it for easier reference in the future. I will also work on getting a .pdf member directory made so you can use them to spot each other...
Very cool inded!!!

Once again I am amazed and delighted by the creativity of the people on this Forum. The ability to combine an old idea with a new concern and come out with a simple and elegant solution is one of the reasons the Forum has grown into such a great resource for Airstream owners and fans.
Does anyone know what the font is for the WB numbers? I think I need to make a trip to the office supply and hardware stores this evening before the stock of blue numbers dries up.

The font style is plain old Helvetica Bold. Nothing fancy about that.

Thanks, Brad.
There's a boat shop just down the street from the shop. I'm guessing they might have some waterproof self-stick numbers that boaters need to display the registrastion numbers.

Rodney,
I mounted my WBCCI # on a 24"x36" piece plexiglass from the "big box" store. I have 4 suction cups that I hold the plexiglass to the propane tanks when we are parked. Now I just need to have a second set of blue numbers for forum rallies!!!

Excellent Chris! I think the blue looks great. Of course, for those who don't want blue, I say - go nuts
Now that I've stopped paying my dues I guess I have something to replace those big red numbers with...

Hej Mike, that sounds a little like the good old forums club idea...
I think we already have all rules a good club needs - they are in the forums rules we all accepted... They are
-behave like a human being
-be friendly
-respect others opinion
-be open minded to others
and...
-have fun!! Here, at rallys or where ever you and fellow Airstreamers meet...
All rules and bylaws a good club needs!!
Thanks!!!
Bjoern

I like that. Since we are dropping out of WBCCI at year end, the replacement is quite suitable.....but I still won't put any numbers up on the aluminum...sorry. But maybe the numbers below my forum decal.

Numbers
I know I am not a vendor on this forum and I hope not to make anyone upset with me but I have a cutter and can make your numbers for everyone. If I dont have the color I can get it with no problem at all.I also have a lot of fonts as well that could match the style you like also.
This seems like a really great idea.

I would be surprised if it was a guy named test, who joined when the forum was first cranked up.

Hi Sam and welcome. The numbers I imagine you're referring to must be the big red ones on the ends of the trailer. They were the membership numbers of a former owner in the WBCCI, or the Wally Byam Caravan Club International. Wally designed the first Airstr3am in 1936.
