Just my take
I think campground reviews must be indexed by state to be at all useful. As I posted before, Public and Private would be useful sub-threads. Without such a structure, pre-set, to organize the posts, I think it would pretty much be a waste of time. IMHO, that is the great weakness of the Members Review Section as it now exists.
As it stands, without any set structure, the Members Review Section will become a hodge-podge. Lets see ... under "P", I might find "Prodegy brake controller" and "Pennsylvania ***" and "Paint" and some campground starting with "P" in Alaska, and on and on. Things with no commonality. Pretty hard to know where to look for anything after it is no longer new.
Reviews, especially, need to be accessible by persons that are not yet members when a review is posted or have no interest at that time and later need the information.
And yes, IMHO, the ability to edit the review is crucial.
