I'm guessing that is Long Key State Park, and all the sites there have that general view. Beautiful picture and beautiful place! Joe

Just for the record, Long Key is going to close the campground in March for about a year. The Corps of Engineers is going to bulkhead the shoreline as the park has been slowly dissolving over the years.

While it is closed, they hope to rewire the electricity and rationalize how they place the power pedestals. If they can scrape up the funding, they would like to rework the fresh water as well (the pipes are old and the pressure can be less than adequate).

I asked if they plan to put sewer connections in (as the State did at Pennekamp up the road) but they laughed softly and said there was no chance of getting that kind of funding.

My favorite campground on earth but it should be even better when they are done.

It is Long Key State Park. We watch the sun come up and go down and never have to move. Highly recommend. Best set up ever.
