    Mike & Laurie,

We just met you at Lackland AFB. I hope all went well with getting that tire plugged. Sorry, we did not have more time. Thanks for your kindness. Anyway, have a safe trip. Until our paths cross again ...

I saw your post about the screen door, I have a friend that will soon be scraping a 90 Excella 27 ft. If you still need the door let me know, I will see if it is usable. Email at

I stumbled across your blog today - why on earth did you stop - it's very, very amusing. I see Yellowstone drew you in more permanently - we enjoyed a soggy trip there 'years' ago when the roads were closed and it was an 80 mile detour to the falls, and the roads in and out were bascially mudslides - way fun ... Do think about revisiting your humorous travel blog ... regards, Wendy

I found you in the forum, I am also in Florida (Miami). I was wondering if you could give me a little advice. I have a '69 Safari 23 feet, and I need to move it from its current stored location. I do not have a vehicle to do this, and I was hoping you could advise me if you have contacts perhaps who can move the Airstream for me. I am also considering selling it, so if you know of someone who is looking (or perhaps yourself), I would love to know too. I'd hate to get rid of it, but financial and logistic issues are making it very challenging for me to keep it.

Thanks for info on the stripper you used. After reading you response I went out and bought some (along with plastic scrapers). But before using the stripper I wanted to see if you had any problems with the product and what did you do to the trailer after it was stripped? Thanks for the info and your help. track

    Hi Mike & Lori,
Hope you made it to Grand Haven safely. I'm home & left my daughters & friends at the AS. Have a great trip. Again, it was nice to meet you!
