Well we are in Fish Creek State Campground for the night.....no hook ups, generator hours....really nice. It is north of Tupper Lake and all of the campsites back up to the lake. We might stay here for 2 days. Regards, BobClick image for larger version

We stayed there about 20 years ago with our pop up. If memory serves Rolland's pond also adjoins Fish Creek. Another favorite of ours is Eight Lake campground down towards Inlet. You can visit Great Camp Sagamore and the Adirondack Museum from there. It's all good.

Ah.....back to civilization...DAMM....seeing the kids and wife with no internet or cell service for 3 days was priceless ! We spent 3 days next to fish creek state camp ground in Rollins lake campground they are joined together but totally separate. We stayed in site 254 at the dead end, the last 5 sites are on a cul-de-sac and each can accommodate one of our rigs, lake access right at the site so we rented a canoe for 3 days....pretty awesome, might be a place for a future get together, got to have a generator and good batteries cause generator can only be run from 9-11 and 4-7 each day. We are now just north of Utica heading to Cooperstown for the weekend. Regards, BobClick image for larger version

I'm good with that; morning cup of coffee and an evening cup of tea; what more does a man need as I have no TV.

Cypress lake/ Bruce national, Park up in Tobermory was exactly the same thing. Loved it. (except it was unusually cold that Thankgiving, and I have no furnace) I didn't mind but the cold blooded in the family got a bit nippy.

Cheers
Tony

We are back in our favorite spot in Cooperstown, NY. I blew my back out on wens. hauling 5 gallon buckets of shower and sink water to the latrine at Rollins Pond campground. Conserve is not a household term for use in our family.....LOL 4 women.....just me and the dog. Anyway making final campsite and cabin plans while we are here for the "Get-Together" Regards, BobClick image for larger version

Mr Miller,
I believe you said that you put a new camera system on the 370, correct? Where did you end up installing the passenger side view camera? (I'm making the assumption that you installed a side view camera).
Thank you Mr Miller.

Best Wishes,
Mr. Spencer

Dear Mr. Spencer, yes indeed I installed a new Alpine REAR back-up camera...no side view cameras...I prefer using my hand signals and dropping flares right now as I still have no directionals but will be working on that situation over the winter. Plus as a bonus I really enjoy the challenge of trying to focus 40' rear through a wobbley mirror as I am changing lanes, could not imagine taking my eyes off the road to monitor a camera. by the way the last time I trusted my back up camera I backed my chevy Volt right into the loader of my back hoe which took the rear spoiler right off "OUCH". Regards, Mr. Miller

I found a new friend at "Gillig", one of my customers is Gillig certified....go figure, although they did not have the directional switch in stock a previous parts guy there scribbled in a part number AC Delco and I was able to find it (NIB) on line....you have to love the Internet ! Would not have been possible 15-20 years ago, anyway my directionals should be working in 2 weeks......did I say that ???? DAMM, I may have just jinked myself ! Regards, Bob

Took a break from the 370LE today and decided to do some much needed maintenance on my courtesy parking area, it's big enough for 2 RVs and I haven't done anything with it since hurricane Irene, I cleared about 20 feet around and next weekend I will burn it all while smoking cigarettes and drinking beer, I'll get a couple of truck rims from one of guys and it will be halfway decent when it's done, Regards, BobClick image for larger version

Getting some routine maintenance done on the 370LE, cleaned out the battery tray and terminals and added a hold down bar, finished up the brass shower trim, and am going to tackle the directional switch tonight, yesterday I burned the brush in my courtesy parking area, Lance here is the shower door make and model, I'm trying to get all the loose ends finished up before the "Get-Together", if anybody needs anything, let me know.....Regards, BobClick image for larger version

After much "ado" I finished up the directional light malfunction this morning, requiring complete disassembly of the steering column, so nice to have the correct parts when doing these kind of tasks....will button it up tomorrow, change the oil and start the clean up for our gathering the following weekend, Regards, BobClick image for larger version
