345 sofa replacement

Has anyone replaced their sofa in the 345 with something (more) comfortable? It apparently needs to be the top part only as the generator is under one end of the sofa. We would like to keep a sofa of some kind as we do like to have people over for games and drinking!

We replaced the uncomfortable sofa in our 30' FC last year - brand new trailer but we could not stand the sofa - there is a store in Seguin Tx that specializes in RV recliners and sofas and reclining sofas and more = I think it's called Shop 4 Seats or similar - we bought the recliners and have a couple of folding chairs for guests - it works. There are pics of it in a separate stream here - you can do a simple search. They make the items to order - lots of coverings to choose from - it takes about 2-3 weeks to deliver to you.

Our dealer advised us to never sell or give away the original pieces - some folks might want it that way some day - so we wrapped them in big mattress bags (available thru Amazon) and stored them on the top area of our barn.

Ours never had the electric one. It is an acrobatic couch that the back manually does a flip and ends up in front of the bast to enlarge the bed. Quite a cool design actually.

We looked at everything we could find to replace the sofa in our '88 345LE. Nothing really hit the mark, so we are having the original redone in leather with a new design. We are replacing the barrel/club chairs, so if anyone is interested in a pair of AS originals in regency rose velour, I have 'em. I should probably start a thread on our Rosie, as she is a total gut and renovation from stem to stern. She's been at the renovator for one year now, but it's coming along, albeit a bit on the slow side.

The chairs are the most comfortable seating in ours!!!! We have had the sofa recovered but the vinyl has worn out in spots. I think I may be stuck with just getting it reupholstered and new padding perhaps.

I'd just go with new padding, the acrobatic couch is too cool to get rid of
