NorCal Spring Rally, Casini Ranch, April 13-15, 2012
Well it's time to mark the calendars for our spring rally at Casini Ranch. The dates are April 13-15 which should coincide with most spring breaks.
Everyone please go to the Casini web site and make your own reservations!

We will gather in the full hookup section. Sites #122 through #148. Sites F-1 through F-11 are partial hookup sites adjacent to the full hookup sites. Some may want to reserve a beautiful river site too, just a short walk away. After making your reservation, post your site number and RSVP on the rally this thread.
For those that don't know, Casini is a special place. Casini Ranch Family Campground is right on the Russian River on a huge old working ranch surrounded by redwoods next to the quaint town of Duncans Mills. It’s about 10 miles to the coast and the ranch is just outside the fog line. Exceptionally beautiful area with redwoods, ferns, wild flowers, eagles, herons, jumping salmon, rocky beaches, lush hillsides, and crystal clear air. Check the website for more info.

At the time of this posting, Casini Ranch has not launched their new online reservation system. It should be up this week. To benefit others, please post your desired site number and confirm later that you were successful in securing your site reservation.

WOW,I wuz on hold for a long time after redialing mucho many times. Lynn and I will be in #140 as we were last year.

That would be my choice. We live off US 50 which is nice but 80 is less winding but doable.

Driving up the 'valley' on 5 to Sac and then west on 50/80 will get you away from a Sierra crossing should there be 'weather' concerns.

Scott, I kept redialing until I finally reach them a bout 8:15am. Then I was placed on hold for 5 ish minutes. I had the same problem last year then found another line in and got someone not handling reservations. She was very gracious and took my reservations. I couldn't find that line this time.....it may have been the one for the store.......Maybe we shouldn't use it...they ARE nice folks.

We're new here. Is this part of the NorCal WBCCI unit? Something else? We joined the NorCal WBCCI, but this event is not on the list. An event in Paso Robles is scheduled on that date.

I just completed my reservation request on the most MICKEY MOUSE online system ever.I'm waiting for my confirmation from Casini. I was charged $192.03 for 4 nights. there's NO box to check for the over 60 discount.the math isn't working for me.
then you get to choose 3 sites in order of preference, so until Casini sends me a email I've no idea where I'm at, lol. AND I still gotta call them anyway to correct the billing. I just love camping.
and redwoodguy-- this is a forum rally NOT a wally thing.I'll give you some duct tape to put over your red numbers.

Hello Redwoodguy!
This group is not part of the WBCCI but welcome anyone who is... you wont see this rally posted on their site.
These are independent forum rallys. They pop up all over the place and some say they might be more fun than those other rallys.. 
Jump in and join us. You are most welcome. You can make reservations right on line through Casini's website. Most stay in the full hookup area but you are free to settle anywhere you choose. It does however fill up fast.
