I'm given to understand that there are toddlers, at the very least, but more importantly, no banjos.
Also, there'll be happy afternoons in my trailer regardless of anyone else's paltry hours.
(it's my first rally too, unless I find another to attend between now and then!)

I've been a little distracted, hand surgery on the 17th but plan to call Casini in the AM to see if 122 is still open or what else will happen...

Welcome Niagara! No need to contemplate, join us! Casini is a great location and of course its family oriented. We are a informal diverse group gathered from the forums.
Our youngest son is 12 but lets shout out to our other rally regulars to see what younger crowd is coming?
Yes there is always a happy hour

Soooooooo....Jeff's map of the camp spots shows #136 as not taken. Yet, this seems to indicate that one of the four families listed has taken that spot. Is anyone willing to claim it?

Okay, I can't spell 144 real good and it came out 147. I really have 144 so put us in there. All subject to cat health issues.
DG is talking about some paddling and that sounds like fun. I don't have a kayak but I'll bring something to paddle with.

By the River
Stan;
Linda Lu has become a strong paddler, she paces me when I'm working out for the marathons and 10 K's.
Cliff- hope your Kitty and hand are better. I have a few extra kayaks. If you really want to paddle I can bring them also. We've got everything needed, PFD's & paddles. Just let me know.
If it's going to rain, I'll be leaving the boats home.

I can't remember who it was exactly, but some Irish trad player once said that the sound of banjos put him in mind of skeletons dancing in a biscuit tin. (Using the UK usage of "biscuit"--we'd say "cookie.")
Actually, though we all make lots of jokes about them, I quite like the banjo.

Oh yea;
forgot to mention-- "Justified" starts back up tonight on television!!!
It's really about what banjo music does to the soul.Lets see what Marshal Raylan Givens has to deal with this series.

OK here's the deal. Casini didn't confirm my reservation for spot 143. However; they called me this morning and have promised me a spot in the full hookup section even if they have to move one of their "permanent" RVs. I had made my reservation on line, then called Casini and was told spot 143 was vacant. I asked if I should book the site over the phone as a precaution and was told that since I had made the reservation on line, site 143 was mine. OOPS! It appears they double booked the site after my reservation was made. The story has a happy ending in that they will honor my reservation somewhere in the full hookup section even if they have to move one of their "permanent" RVs. This is convenient for me in that my '68 Overlander has no grey water tank. I think that from now on, I'll just make my reservation at Casini over the telephone.
