Prodex...this stuff is wierd...my laser heat-o-meter says the 1st layer of prodex has the same skin temp as the bare aluminum... BUT...my hand can't stay on the bare skin (too hot) while just a few inches away, the prodex is tolerable...AND the AC kept the inside cool today...
Anyway...layer 1 is almost complete...layer two will take a while...electrical is gotta be done first...
Mrs. HiHo started de-silicon'ing today...lot's of P.O. sealing attempts...
Oh, yes...3M 77....is good glue

Look Ma'...No Cleco's!!!
Mrs HiHo helped and we got all of the curb side rivets installed. Remaining are the street side wheel well and a few on the front.
I still have to install the rear hold down structure...just kinda dragging on that one. I need to cut a long 2" wide chunk of thick aluminum to go beneath the floor, then install 6 - 8 bolts. Not a very hard job, I just can't seem to get motivated to do it.
Dolly now has 110v wiring run for all of the main circuits, 6 total counting the main feed. A few misc wires...cable TV...charge back line...and she's not far from the second layer of Prodex...then comes endcaps and skins...

Have you ever had a GRRRRRRR day? That's what mine was...
I need 50+ feet of #10 stranded....minimum available in my area...500'
I head to Fastenal to get my order...remember I haven't hit a home run with orders from the local store...6' of hinge and a 12 tube case of Trem Pro 625...all ordered special for me...
Well the 'case' is 30 tubes (i'm sure I said a 12 tube case and 100% sure that they didn't correct me and say a case is 30 tubes...we had a conversation) and the hinge is bent and twisted like a pretzel...
So...since I ordered it, it's mine (they did offer to 'try again' on the hinge)...no thanks, I'll take my stuff and this is the last time you will see me.
So if anyone is wondering why TremPro 635 is in short supply...I cornered the market...and will be offering it to fellow forum members in the classified section...

This forum is cool and the members are second to none. I didn't even have the chance to post the excess tubes of Trempro on the classified section before members contacted me and picked up the excess from my order.
Thanks y'all!

Some progress today...step 1) Discover that a Honda 2000 WILL run the small window airconditioner hanging thru the water heater hole...
I've been worrying about all of the pop rivets that are still showing on the interior. When removing the interior skins, most of the rivets simply sheared off the head, leaving the stem protruding. I bought a 'flap' wheel and put it on an angle grinder...quick work removing the stems
All of the wiring is now installed...I have to tape the edges of the first layer of Prodex...second layer is next, then comes the interior panels!
Crappy iphone photos...

Heck, I just hung that stuff for the photo...who needs notes?...what were we discussing?
Really...that is the one thing that I do worry about...imagine getting new interior skins installed, then remembering you needed another outlet!

you just nailed the reason why it has taken me an embarrassingly long time to get my trailer on the road . . .
(I take that back, that's just an "additional" reason why - not "thee" reason why)

I keep coming up with new reasons why I don't make steady progress...
When I get really busy at work, I have a tendency to want to goof off more in my spare time - thus camping takes up the weekends.

Finally some more progress. The temps have moderated and we are home this weekend so this morning I tackled the AVI door. 1 conclusion...I hate vulcum. Combine it with rivets and it's an unholy evil mess.
I also drilled the wire holes for the front marker lights.

Ive been draggin out this task for a while...I'm not a huge fan of strippin paint but the time has come to tackle the rear cap. 1/2 way done and I've removed a couple of pounds of latex.
Orange Stripper to the rescue again!

How do small tasks that seem to take all day often have nothing to show?
Riveted the last of the shell-to-chassis spots, installed the rear-hold-down straps and bolts and installed the awning rail.
Let me check - yup, still hate vulcum....
