Finally got around to making a "pad" for my Airstream to get it out of the dirt so I can work on it, and have this property as a home base for when I retire... someday. This is located at a piece of property I own that has a well, 30 amp electric and a septic system. The mobile home is used as a workshop and storage. The house to the left of the mobile home is mine as well and is just a little bit bigger than my Airstream .

Lots of work excavating, making the forms, and leveling with crushed concrete prior to the pump truck coming in. Total size is 27' long, by 21' wide and it is butted up to another slab that is 8' deep by 35'. Plenty of room for the AS and vehicles.

Yes, that's what we'd like, too! Then if guests come, our Airstream could be the guest house.

A full set of gaskets for: windows, door, fridge access, storage compartment, screen door and solar stone gard.

And a shiny low pressure Kuuma BBQ.

Picked up 2 Lifeline AGM batteries for our 23' Intl. After 3 years the stock Interstate's couldn't provide the needed power on a consistent basis. Next up will be solar. I need more Bitcoins for that expense though :-).

A CoolerMaster 120mm computer case fan (19db, 69cfm) to replace the loud refrig fan. Came complete with blue LEDs for accent. This summer when I have more time and ambition I may try the dual-fan baffled approach that dtbw described in his excellent posting. Many thanks to he and others that have posted ideas.

p.s. The Wife is wondering if the blue LEDs will annoy our campground neighbors worse than the noise...

The neighbors will think it's a little odd, but a light in your fridge compartment may attract plenty of flying insects at night.
