What Did You Get For Your Trailer Today?

One of the threads started by our friend Keyair in the Motorhome section has been extremely popular, informative and fun.
Lets see all the cool stuff you have been digging out of deep intergalactic space for your Airstream trailer.
I finally gave my driveway and parking spot for my current Airstream 34' Limited trailer the one and only appropriate name I could think of..:D:lol:

Peter,

Glad to see you got this thread started! Now you just have to get the trailer owners involved. Give it a little time and I bet it will pick up some steam :)

Tried all kinds of LED replacements for 1141/1156 bulbs and found these warm white for $5.- ea on Ebay to be the closest in color and intensity.
My trailer has about 36 of these in the interior, so price did matter a lot.

Opened the box from Vintage Trailer Supply. New seal material, silicon caulk remover and a couple of new handles/cranks for the windows.

Once I can get past the 20 inches of snow we have had in the past week I'll have projects a plenty.

I ordered a new toilet. This is a big deal for a Tradewind. I ordered an economy model of a European cassette toilet aka a porta potty. My black water tank is now my gray water tank. This will be a real challenge to install in the Tradewind toilet cabinet.

Since it is winter and the AS is in the storage lot, does it have to be "today", or can we list the items collecting in the basement over winter for that first warm spring week install?

Since we are Newbie's and I am fully outfitting her with all new "stuff", things are piling up in my sitting room waiting for our first trip. The latest addition is our new outdoor rug from Dash & Albert. Platinum and Ivory striped. Love!!

Got tired of wasting water and having to adjust the temp after off/on "navy" shower.

Amazon.com: Overhead Shower Water-Volume Control, Oil Rubbed Bronze Finish - By Plumb USA: Home Improvement

There are a lot of different brands. I had 4 of these:

Amazon.com: Gizmode Innovations - Water Alarm: Patio, Lawn & Garden

I put one in each "corner". Under the curved windows in front and on either side of the rear "trunk" door. They already notified me once, when I didn't get my taillight sealed properly after changing out the LED assembly. But the ones in the rear were a little bulky and got bumped around a lot when removing/replacing chairs, etc. I saw these on special at some store. They mount up on the wall and are small, so.....

Just bought a Sewer Solution as we're hoping to get to some full service campgrounds this year. We don't often go to places with sewer hookups but on two occasions that we have, the sewer connection has been higher than the tanks on the Airstream; a situation caused by the relatively low ride of an Airstream. The Sewer Solution should solve that issue.

I was going to get some angled blocks cut for when we have the trailer on our sloping driveway; one for the tongue jack and two to level the wheels out. Sadly the local saw mill is closed for the month of February and I may change my mind by next week!

I will be buying some RV Boss for the waste tanks RV-BOSS. Can't recommend the stuff highly enough.

A couple of 'CrabHawks', crab snares & a spool full of 50 lbs test braided line for the saltwater reel...

OOPs...thats for us when we haul our AS over to the coast near Bodega Bay soon...

In case the Dungeness Crabs aren't grabbing our snares, we'll make up batch of Yakitori to grill over the coals to keep us mellow along with our jug of Cali Merlow...;)

Oh, OK, rules now!

This is the setup for the filter and softener. The softener and the PVC all fit in the new 48" sewer hose tube.

Attachment 179972

This is the tube, note, I am installing 2 additional 4" PVC pipe hanger from HD as the assembly with the softener and stand weighs 22 pounds
