before declaring it "working fine" try all the features and links and buttons IN the forums, and so on...
i'm using safari and firefox and explorer, mac and pc.
FROM a/sforums.com the redirect works and so do all the buttons...
from airforums (with ALL the a/sforums links deleted) this isn't true...
-error message as note above at log in.
-from user cp clicking 'back' button bring up the log in screen again
-clicking 'back' button from with the pages of a long thread does too...
-hitting on any of the menu items in blue bar (porta, usercp, register,faq..) again requests log in....
i'm going to return to all the original links (a/sforums.com) for now.
"tips and tricks" to handle the change?
little items throughout the "days and weeks" to come?

I simply added "airforums.com" to my list of favorites and it's working just fine. The "re-direct" also went through OK. The only thing that might happen is that, because you have to re-enter your password, a lot of users may have forgotten theirs and have to ask for assistance. Or, just maybe, I'm the only dumb bunny that does things like that!!!

Thank you! I just tried it again and it worked. I think it may have been that particular thread that was currently being "moderated" away. (I was giving the member who said take it elsewhere karma.)

i too tried and was denied into that thread just as it vanished. thank goodness!
now if the anti chinese, anti french, only-we-can-use-a-certain-latin phrase, HATE thread hiding in the tire forum...

I imagine, the change over is not a simple "flip of the switch and it's done"...it may take some time for all the links & features to catch up.
Thus the forewarning that it was to happen today...it may take all day or more.

Thanks for the posts, we are working on the issues now.
It's been a busy morning/day. We have been changing soo many settings, editing HTML, posting stuff to the search engines, cleaning up the templates, etc. We still have a long way to go but I hope that a bulk of the items are addressed by tonight (at latest tomorrow night).
Keep posting errors as you find them.
