That means another Ron for the swimsuit competition...
(and another Linda to hide in the trailer with Karen and I and the rest of the girls )
I'll e-mail Debra one more time and see if she's still interested.

Any other thoughts about the best route from central-ish CA 101 heading south?
Other comments on 166 east?
Are you heading south on 5 Otters?

Bam,
That road is fine. Lotsa C.H.P. to nab speeders and several pasing lanes. While a bit curvy in spots your set up won't have any problems.

Highway 46 isn't too bad. Its about 60 miles from 101 to 5. If you're interested, we can meet up with you on I-5 and 46 on Thursday about lunch time, and then we could caravan to the Rally.

I've pulled the Excella on 46-41. Good road, one lane each way, not much traffic. The drop off from the pavement to the dirt on the side of the road can at times be excessive. Just keep it on the black top and you will be able make good time! Drive safe.

Bam, It's about the same driving time from Los Osos to Pyramid Lake whether you take 166 or 46. If you have never taken 166, it would be a worthwhile new experience. The road is fine. Fill up on gas before you leave as stations are scarce. You can see beautiful downtown Cuyama and New Cuyama

Update
California Streamers Summer Rally is almost here!
Ok everybody..we have filled up our alloted spaces, however, there is still the possibility for more to be added up to the day of the rally. If you have not added your names, arrival time and Saturday nite potluck dish to the list below, please do.
When arriving, hopefully the front desk will have a list of our space assignments, if not, try to remember your space to keep us intact. There is a slight possibility that we may have to jockey a few spaces, but it will get done early so no one will have to move after being set up.
For those who wish to bet on the MoHo races, we will have a representative in Las Vegas monitoring the odds. Another interesting tid-bit, I was just informed that a gentlemen with a Winnebago has asked to enter the race. We are trying to decide if this is an aluminum only deal, and such, we have asked the WBCCI for a ruling, since they seem to have considerable experience in the correct way to handle sensitive decisions.

I've driven 41 and 46 many times with and without a trailer so I think I'll give 166 a try. I drove it years ago but it's been a while. Still not sure if I'll be there Thursday or Friday...but definitely in time for the Margi-ball on Friday.
(Is noon too early for margaritas? Just asking...)

Uh...don't ask the WBCCI for a ruling on anything. (Did I say that out loud?)
Just ask Milo..he'll know.

But Bam,
It was Milo's suggestion, and he is a professional. (Did I say THAT out loud?)

Okay. Well let's just take a vote then. A secret ballot.
Everyone close your eyes. All in favor, raise your hand.
Great. It's unanimous.
