2021 23' GBT Dinette/Bed and increasing sleeping

Has anyone used the dinette as a bed and does it really extend to 76" per the specs? Do the seat back cushions come off to provide the extra length?

Also, have any of you found a way to sleep additional people. We have the twin model. Is there a way to create a larger bed between the two twins?

We have grandchildren and trying to figure out how to maximize the sleeping space.

First timer questions and looking for experienced 23' owners. Thanks!

The interior width of the dinette at it widest point is a little over 68”. The seat backs do not come off. As it comes from the factory, there is no way to turn the twins into one big bed. If you are handy, you might be able to build something but it would be tricky because of the nightstand.

Pitch a tent outside, have some of the kids spread out out there?

Do you no how the seat back or fix? I am thinking to modify the fixation of one to be able to take it off an gain a few inches.

How many people are you trying to fit in there? Is this something you will be doing frequently enough to mod your trailer? If not, how about sleeping bags for the kids? I think you could probably squeeze 3 or 4 kids in there but it's going to make moving around in the middle of the night challenging no matter how you accomplish it.
