61 GBT How do bed supports work

Have these aluminum bed supports under the 61 Globetrotters pull out gauchos. Pretty sure we had them down before but now I cannot get to them to work. From the looks of things they pull/slide out away from the bump out pin and then swivel down and repin themselves. There is likely a spring inside them. I can't imagine all four of the springs are done working. Will give it a little bit of spray and don't mind pulling hard just hate to break original items.Click image for larger version

Taking the bed frame apart now. It's going to be taken apart anyway for a future dinette. easier to work on this way than laying on my back on the floor. Still cannot figure how they open up. I think it's a pull. Have sprayed them with croil let's see if they give.Click image for larger version

Figured it out.

Once we got it laying up on the workbench a little light bulb went off! It's the collar of the leg that you pull on not the leg itself.

Good to know. Our '64 GlobeTrotter didn't have those... the bed just cantilevered out.
