Noisy Towel Warmer?

Is it normal for the towel warmer to make noise when the heat is on?

Negative. The reservoir for the alde system is in that cabinet above the towel bar. What you are hearing is likely the fluid level is very low and the gurgling of the fluid is occurring. I’d check your tank and fill with fluid ASAP. If your reservoir is full, let us know and it could be something else?

There are no moving parts upstream from the motor, so it’s likely the reservoir level.

When you checked was the system in heating mode or was it cold? Cold you are good, in heating mode at that level you may not have enough fluid. Have you tried following the manual for bleeding air out of the system?

On your 2020 there is a vent on the towel bar . Open the bleed carefully using an old towel and vent the air.

The heat seems to be working.. but when it comes on its agitating in the accumulator tank. so the noise may be coming from the tank not the rack. I did not know the tank was in the wall behind the rack. while warm the tank still appears to be half full and the fluid is circulating in the tank

What previous poster was saying is that if the heating is on the liquid expands and it may appear you have enough liquid. My fluid level is half way between the half mark and the low mark when the system is cold. Have you checked what it looks like when the pump is off and system is cold?

Also, you may be able to lower your pump speed at the alde. I believe mine is set to 2 but I’d have to pop the seat cushion to verify.
