That looks a lot like the one that John sells. Contact Sandlapper on this forum. He has 3 and 5 pole versions.

Setting up camp awning heard a Suprise “snap” and front awning claw end piece cracked in half ! Couldn’t figure...... why now ?
Sacrificed a coat hanger and wrapped the assembly which kept all super solid saving trip.
When back, Zip-Dee called from our message and shipped parts during....(Stay in place order). Thanks Zip Dee !!!

Both front and back sections replaced and like new.

Full LED Upgrade.....inside and out.

I just finished installing the last of the LED's today. Since the Excella came with the factory installed fluorescent "dome mood lighting" I put up cool white trimmable LED strips on the original light mounts. I had to rip out the old ballast and bulb sockets. Nothing dims down anymore and you get all but 2 lights on high before the cooling fan turns on the power converter.

I heard that if the claw was mistakenly put on the shoulder of the bolt rather than the groove during storage, it will crack.

I think replacement bolts are available that make it impossible to hook it up wrong. Mine were replaced for free at a rally by someone who represents ZipDee (at least unofficially) but I can't remember who or where.

Ordered a Proven Ind Hitch Lock for our new 2019 Sport 22FB. I have an idea to make it more bullet proof by welding a cap/collar over the puck lock to prevent someone from drilling through the lock.

Drilling through this cap and then into the lock will just break drill bits. My hope is to make the lock even harder to get through. Anything can be taken apart if a thief is determined enough but we are trying to make it hard to steal our new trailer!

Custom wheel locks to come...

Padawan, just saw your post about Elsa and had to laugh. My wife and I named our Globetrotter “Olaf” and our RAM 2500 tow vehicle is “Sven”! Would be fun to meet up sometime and park them next to each other.

Great minds think alike

Tell me more.
Although my formica countertops are nice, I was spoiled with Corian in the MH. Tell me what was involved, who did it, was it easy?

When you get ready to replace the curtains, I'll buy the old ones. (maybe)

Ha, Have you ever priced the Airstream pleated curtains. YIKES

As far as the Corian tops I took it to a local cabinet millwork shop. They did the measurements using some type of laser pattern maker. They did both the galley and bathroom tops with sinks. All in with installation I believe it was just was just north of 3K.

Sadly, yes.
My curtains are fine, but I wish they were wider. So I thought if I added more panels, I could put some pleats in the look.
But at $250/per panel, I'll either learn to sew or find someone upgrading theirs.

Learn to sew, you will use the skill over and over. Certain things ARE easy and less expensive to buy stock, golf cart curtains and covers come to mind, but you could literally make first class lined pleated curtains for $25-$35 per panel.

There are books and videos starting with how to operate the machine to matching fabric designs and plaids, to making pleats and making your own patterns. Look for retailers of high-end machines for personal classes.

Just a thought; we put day/night blinds in the center window. The curved sections has the curtains. We did this in both front and back .

Battery Box Refurb!

Just finished the refurbishment of the battery compartment on our 2009 FC23.
Removed lots of surface rust on the inside/outside bottom area due to previous owners neglect. Sealed the the lower front seam with JB-Weld and applied two coats of Rust-oleum Stop Rust. Installed new main cable lugs and new cross connect cables. Ditched the Lead Acid batteries and installed new (80w) deep cycle maintenance free batteries. Purchased a four stage battery tender and last......sat back with a beer and admired my handy work.

Off to Big Bend (Lajitas) this Sat for about a week of two of serious social distancing.

Thanks all, as a recent purchaser of our first Airstream I have gotten a lot of ideas from this thread.
