A real deal....
 At the CIU Just Camping weekender. Yes, your eyes are not fooling, the WBCCI number is 32. This was a true 'garage find', original owner was a WBCCI charter member, and bought this 68 Land Yacht Safari. Passed away in the 70s, and the son put it in the storage building shortly after. When the son was selling the property, the current owner was hired to clean out the building, and got the trailer as part of the deal. Original inside, all appliances and gizmos worked, and it cleaned up to show the original pride of craftmanship.

So does he get to keep the number if he joins WBCCI or was the number retired?

Saw only 2 last Thursday & Friday, while coming home from Florida.
A 16' traveling north near Jacksonville on I-95, late Thursday afternoon.
A 25' (I think) towed by a red Ford pickup pulled in the northbound I-95 rest stop at the GA/SC state line, mid-day on Friday.

Numbers 100 and below are not retired, but they are controlled and assigned by Airstream Inc. at their discretion.
#32 was assigned to Arthur and Anna Davis of St. Louis, MO from 1955 through at least 1964. Don't have later Directories handy to check right now. The Davis' participated on Caravan 3 - Mexico East Coast Winter 1954, before the club was even founded.

We are at topsail hill this week
1st pic is us - following below are all current airstreams here at the park with us
Met "Jim" owner of an amazing 1986 excella that he restored including new finish!! I was like "dang - did they start making new excellas?!?!"
His neighbor and personal friend had a near identical excella
Here was someone in my 114 spot from canopener 2014
