Because of a family illness this morning, we will have to cancel. I will cancel site 141 in a few minutes & this will also open up two spots for the 9:15ish breakfast with the ranger. Sorry to miss this year’s fun, hopefully next year we’ll be back as usual! Have fun & stay warm!

Well it’s been a ton of fun so far here at Canopener.......and I’ve only been here one day
Regarding tomorrow’s festivities, our Pinball wizard flaked out on us so there won’t be a Pinball Tournament. BUT, thee one and only Aluminotes will be in the Park to entertain We’ll also be handing out our goodie bags and begin to announce winners of our give away prizes - but you have to be present to win
So come one and all to the clubhouse tomorrow evening at 6:00pm and Let’s Get This Party Started

This years Canopener will have activities to be determined later in the year but the Clubhouse has been reserved for Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. I expect there will be music, chili, cornhole tournament, bunko, open house and more music. Who knows what else will be added.



Reservations for campsites must be made through Reserve America. Their policy prohibits reservation more than 11 months in advance of your arrival date (see their site for exact details).

One of the great things about Canopener is there is NO registration.........which means it’s never too late to join in!
Friday is all day fun day at the clubhouse beginning at 12:00 noon - Chili Feed followed by The Great Cornhole Tournament, after that who know what fun will be had!!! Just Bring your own chairs and set up your space out in the parking lot!
