color pop rivets

I just can't find the original interior color pop rivets to reattach interior wall panels (white) or interior furniture panels (brown) or furniture panel trim (bronze may be same brown) only found aluminum and cream colors at vintage trailer supply. So, any direction to where to get is appreciated. Thanks.

I have found colored rivets at auto racing supply places. Not sure if they have your colors but worth a shot. Wonder how it would work to paint rivet heads before use and then paint stems left after popping.

My local True Value hardware carries bronze and white along with the normal mill finish. It's an unusually large store though.

I will sometime use a rattle can to spray the heads the color I want.

Another option: If you can find a wholesale material supply house that caters to drywall/ceiling contractors they will have rivets to match every color of metal ceiling grid that they sell. I've seen red, blue, green, black, bronze, brown, copper, stainless, and a few more normal colors. They usually sell them by the 100. Note that these might have a steel center pin that can cause some corrosion problems in the right conditions.

Get a box of rivets, stick them stem-side-up in a piece of cardboard, and paint them any color you want with a can of spray paint.

color rivets

Thanks all. Great ideas. Will search links and hope to avoid touch up with q-tip. I got cans of brown and white rustoleum on stand-by too.

See if you can find a matching shade of nail polish. Worked for my blue rivet heads on the exterior.

Make your own. Dip them in paint, let them dry jard, then pop away!
Its just a little jar of paint and some time!
