Are most of your answers relating only to LCD flat screens or are they the same for plasma flat screens? I did not read any differentiations? Aerowood did give some facts instead of opinions but I assume in a c130 all flat panels are LCD??

We do not have Flat panel displays in the cockpit yet (we are going full glass a year from now and they will be LCD) The aircraft is a weather research bird and the science racks in the back all have comercial grade LCD monitors

What's the best sealant to prevent the TV from leaking? I should have a pan under it in the summer to keep the liquified crystals from staining the sofa.

I was asking about the LCD. I doubt plasma would work in a travel trailer because all that shaking could cause the plasma inside to escape and the entire rig would go into an alternate universe.

I thought it was their nicknames: Short Bob and Simple Carla.

Another case of lack of self control and it's not late either…

What the heck - just stick with the old bullet-proof cathode ray tube TV and you'll never have to worry about it!
