Adding another Battery to a '72 Sovereign

I primarily boondock and love the two 6v golf cart battery configuration. Unfortunately, my battery compartment is too small for another Trojan T105 battery, so I have to look at other options.

Is the tongue area behind the two LP Tanks large enough to weld a tray for two 6v batteries? What about adding a couple battery compartments to the front? How much would that cost to have that modification done?

Looking for expert opinions.

Mike I wouldn't suggest welding anything up there. You can just as easly bolt it in place with some square type U-bolts.

The cost of your questioned modification would depend on who does it so saying a price would be purly a guess.......................
