San Bernardino

We are traveling to So. Cal for a funeral and want to stay in the Redlands / San Bernardino area. Has anyone had any experiences in this area?

don't know how far Yucaipa Regional Park is from where you need to be, but, it's a very nice place.

Not sure how often you need to be Redlands/San Bernardino, but I've stayed at Dogwood Campground near Lake Arrowhead several times. It's up in the mountains but not a terribly difficult drive up/down. It's a great site and has easy access to Lake Arrowhead.

We stayed in Big Bear Lake in San Bernadino in March. WARNING: The drive involves some serious altitude climb and we were stupid for making that arduous trip for a single overnight but we were new at this AS thing.....

2nd on Yucaipa Regional Park. I haven't stayed there but did do a drive through and it is nice but you are "camping".
Golden Village Palms in Hemet, CA is further away but is a very nice RV Park with swimming pools, hot tubs etc. We stay here occasionally and it is also close to amenities.

You might like Rancho Jurupa Regional Park in Riverside. It's a Riverside County park.

Thanks, Everyone. "She Who Must Be Obeyed" booked us at Reche RV Park just outside of Redlands. Has a good rating on Allstays. I'll report back once we've stayed there.
Thanks again!
Ron

Thanks Julie and Bob! I was looking at that also. I will definitely do a drive-by.

Julie-Bob,
Thanks SO much for the tip on Mission RV Park. After arriving at Reche Canyon, we realized we were next to a drug den! We immediately drove to Mission and the accommodated us. As you said, very clean! And the people are super nice! We're here for two nights.
Thanks again!!
