Lost part

Need help! If anyone’s on I84 westbound in Oregon, we lost our horizontal propane cover somewhere between Boise, ID and Baker City, OR, please be on the lookout for a black propane cover. Our rig is a ‘02 Squarestream landyacht. It is irreplaceable. If found, please pm me. Thanks

Welcome to the forum, and good luck with finding the cover!

You might check colaw's salvage. They have a lot of Airstreams and Argosies and may have one.

I have seen a few old SOBs with horizontal tanks and fiberglass tank covers. They aren't easy to find but not impossible either. Mostly seen in residential campgrounds.

Sorry for your loss and that I can’t help, I am certain we saw your Sqaurestream heading south on Hwy 97 just north of Redmond. We were going north with our 22FB.

I’m sure we saw you too! We’re caravaning to Salem. Thank you everyone who tried to help and wished us well. This is a great group!

Our TV is a blue Audi Q5, likely less common. I doubt your part will be along the route by the time we make our trip to Idaho and back in July...but if we do see it I’ll grab it. Is it aluminum?

Propane cover

No, it’s black fiberglass for horizontal bottles. Thanks!

As a guy who glassed surfboards and the inside hulls of Hobie cats in my mis-spent youth, nothing made of fiberglass is irreplaceable. You just need a template, maybe out of plywood, and it could be replicated. Might be a pain, but it's doable.
