How many Airstream days did you (or will you) experience in 2021?

Unfortunately, my Airstream is already winterized and parked until spring of 2022. I know that those of you in warmer climates are still out, and that's fantastic.

We had 45 Airstream days in 2021, and towed 5,132 miles. We camped in Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, and Texas. Our Airstream is used for recreational camping, and we prefer state and national parks as well as boondocking.

When we bought the Airstream in early 2020, our goal was to use it for a minimum of 20 days per year. Anything less than that, and it isn't worth keeping it. How many Airstream days did you have in 2021? For those of you still out on the road, how many days will you have?

33 nights camping this year. 5 nights with the grand kids. Only 1510 miles this year as we focused on close by campgrounds in Colorado to minimize travel time and maximize fly fishing time. Next year I retire and we will do some bigtime travel to the Northeast.

I would estimate 150-160 nights, tho I don’t keep count I had an abbreviated trip last winter and then about 11 week trip out late June into September.

My wife and I have been discussing our 2022 plans and trying to decide what trips we'll plan in advance of the camping season. I'm actually thinking about more trips close to home, but longer duration trips than many of the trips that we took in 2021. I'm not yet sure what we will do, but the planning is part of the fun. I'm definitely in favor of staying in one place for a while and maximizing fly fishing time!

My guess is that the older folks are (in most cases), the more time they have, or if folks are independently wealthy or work for themselves. For me, working for the man, I'm at about 20 days a year, but in 4 to 5 years, I could see that easily reaching 30-40 days or more once I pull the rip cord and jump off the work plane and into retirement.

Same here. Part of my Airstream time this year included working from the road.

If I ever decide to travel around the country extensively when I retire, then I'll update my rig to something bigger. My 23FB is great for the way we use it, but not ideal for an extended trip.

25 nights since we owned the Airstream which is just about exactly one year now.
For a couple working full time jobs I think that’s pretty good.
Includes time spent in Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee.

65 nights in a year ... six years ago before we were both retired.... now a new house, garden, forest fire, dogs etc ... and only three trips out in the last three years!
Time to sell>???
No way; we are working it back into the schedule!

Our last outing was in July-August of 2019. We went out to Portland, OR through Nebraska. Returned by the northern route through North Dakota. It was a hurried trip to visit family. Dora has been parked at the storage lot since then.

When we lived on the Central Coast of CA we got out 60+ days a year; Colorado has shortened our season so now it is 30-40. The smoke was so bad this year we lost a number of days.
