Bathroom Overhead Cabinet

Anyone have a recommendation for an easy install lift/strut that will hold up the mirrored door on a bathroom overhead in a 2017 FC?
Most of the ones I've seen take advanced math degrees to figure out the curve of the door etc ... I'm too old to go to figuring numbers.

We've use this spring hatch support for the over head bathroom mirror (and the door over the fridge) on our last two Airstreams. It works well and is easy to install.

I had the same problem with the medicine cabinet on our '16 Flying Cloud. Did a search for a previous thread on the topic and found great suggestions. I went with pneumatic hinges found on Amazon. Here is the name of the shocks and link to them on Amazon. The install was very easy and now the medicine cabinet stays open.

And here is a link to the previous thread on the topic. There are even pictures posted.

I'm going with the Boat Hatch Spring. It's available on Amazon in various lengths. I liked it mainly for the simplicity and pretty much near impossible to wear out or tear up.

We did the boat hatch spring on our 27fb 3 years ago. Works great to this day!

We ordered Stabilus Lift Support for one side of medicine cabinet. Removed center "J" hook latch-pain in the you-know-what to pull open and push close. Installed 2 magnetic closures on other side. Two magnets were too strong to open easily so I used white tape over magnets to lessen the attraction. Now opens and closes with ease. Stays closed during travels. Door never opens while traveling back and forth on hwy 680 in Sunol area of California...that section is THE epitome of "California's highways are the worst!"
