New member in Alabama

Hello to all! I have been a motorhomer (non-Airstreams) with my family -husband and two boys- for the last few years, but have always admired the round shiny trailers and looked forward to having one. I would like to travel more often than the rest of my crew and wanted something small that I could handle more easily by myself. Have enjoyed the Forums for a year or more and learned a lot of useful info which helped a great deal in my recent purchase of a 1972 23' Safari Twin. My family doesn't quite get the "silver twinkie" concept, but it's my greyhounds who love to travel the most! The hounds and I plan to head for the Southwest as soon as I am finished checking out/updating/repairing, etc., etc. the Safari. Any other greyhound crazy Airstreamers out there? Becky

Crazy, sometimes

Yes Becky, crazy at times but no greyhounds - I have a Lab and a Boxer.
Welcome to the forums after lurking for so long, and good luck in your restoration and travels.

Hi Becky, welcome! Please post a couple of pics of your greyhounds - I'm sure they will be wonderful traveling companions for you! How much work does your Safari need? Hopefully you'll be on the road soon. Keep us posted!

Love Greyhounds, I had one for about 6 years we rescued him from the track after he told them he couldn't catch that little rabbit. He turned in to a great pet and king of the couch. He lived the rest of his life spoiled. Welcome to the forums lots of great folks.
